Among the various buildings that enrich the Apulian landscape, this time we present a characteristic, tiny farmhouse built by Land Reclamation Authority.
The Land Reform made after World War II had the purpose to create small, economically self-sufficient family businesses.
The farmhouses were built according to standardized projects: ground floor houses made in tufo - the local stone - with a covered veranda, an artesian well, the chicken coop, the oven, and the barn.
The one we just put on the market is called "type M" and comprises two buildings: the house and the annex.
The house is accessed through a covered veranda through which you gain a spacious entrance-living room, a hallway, a bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. The net area is 65 square meters apart from about 15 square meters of the veranda.
The annex is the old stable with a couple of storage rooms and the characteristic oven.
The annex has a net area of 23 square meters.
The property is connected to electricity and comes with an artesian well.
Both buildings need to be restored and we have a project for a new internal layout with which you can get two bedrooms, kitchen, living room, and covered veranda as well as an annex with one bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom both fully independent.
The land coming with the property measure about 1.8 hectares, with a regular shape at the corner of two roads.
The asset is located in the area Torre Guaceto Nature Reserve so it is just 5 minutes from beaches into the nature reserve and 15 minutes drive from Brindisi International airport.
